New project: “400 KV cable works for Mushriff – Mamzar Beach”

Challenging project undertaken by Al Nasr is the subcontract for Nexans and is related to installation, testing and commissioning of 400kV XPLE cables in concrete ducts between Mushriff Substation and Mamzar Substation in Dubai (DEWA Contract No. CNE/0069/09).

Al Nasr Scope of Work involves excavation of 11.3 km of deep trenches and installation of 2.65m x 2.5m precast concrete structures, including waterproofing and sealing of joints, as well as 1.4 km of road crossings using micro tunneling method. The scope also includes the construction of 27 reinforced concrete technical rooms/access shafts with their M& E installations.
