DISTRICT COOLING

AJMAN PHASE 1 EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION PIPING AND ENERGY TRANSFER STATION

Contract Period: 21.03.2006 to 20.05.2007

Scope of Work:

External CHW Distribution Network:

  • Excavation of trenches for Chilled Water Pipelines.
  • Supply & Installation in the city center of Ajman, pre-insulated CS pipes and fittings of diam. 150 mm to 900 mm and a total length of 12.3 KM and manufactured to ASTM 53 Grade B for the external chilled water pipes, buried underground complete with all necessary air vents and high points and drains at the low points, valves and valve pits, non destructiveroad crossings, reinstatement of the existing grounds to their original conditions…etc.
  • Executing direct builidngs connection for 27 high rise towers complete with all instrumentation and controls.
  • Construction of 2 Nos. DN 750 Zone Valve Pits with pressure reducing valves, electro magnetic flow meters, PLCs, instrumentations and controls.
  • 9 Nos. PLCs for the integration with the plant process.
  • Chemical flushing, testing & commissinong of the lines.

Energy Transfer Stations:

  • Complete seven Energy Transfer Stations with inlet piping ranging from 250 mm dia to 600 mm dia with a total cooling capacity of 16000 TR, complete with piping, fittings, heat exchangers, insulation, cladding, valves, motorized valves, controls & instrumentation, PLCs, cabling, integration with SCADA system central plant PLC, flow meters, sensors, guages, hangers & supports, builders works etc.
