Under the policy to supply water and power to the islands in Abu Dhabi, Al Nasr Irrigation & Contracting Co. was awarded the contract to lay, by directional drilling under the sea bed, the CS sleeves and install the HDPE water & power transmission lines.
The Project was executed on time and schedule as detailed hereby:

| Scope of Works:
|
|
| a) | Detailed Engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commission the pipeline network to supply water to Masnouah Island, Ghantoot area, Ghanada Island and Semeih area.
|
|
| Piping Work
|
|
| a) | A complete survey of the area with full integration of the future proposed developments to produce the profile & cross - sectional drawings for construction.
|
|
| b) | Supply and Install D.I. DN 800 - 150 mm pipes and fittings.
|
|
| c) | Supply and Install all butterfly valves, gate valves, air release valves, strainers, flow meters etc.
|
|
| d) | Construct all valve chambers and line marker posts.
|
|
| e) | Supply & install by Directional Drilling under the sea-bed for a distance of 1.2 KM, C.S. sleeve pipe with 3 Nos. of HDPE 200 mm pipelines.
|
|
| f) | Supply & install by Directional Drilling under the sea-bed 300 mm HDPE pipe carriers.
